As one of the latest addition to Sheltair’s portfolio, the FBO at Georgia’s Gwinnett County Airport has joined Avfuel’s branded network.

Situated just 33 miles from downtown Atlanta, the FBO is due for an upgrade in line with a $17 million programme to enhance and expand the regional hub, which is the third-busiest airport in Georgia. Sheltair will transition the existing Gwinnett Aero FBO’s space with plans to improve the facility’s look and feel. This includes a new FBO, restaurant and office complex, along with expanding the existing 200,000 sq. ft. hangar facility.

“We intend to exceed expectations and are dedicated to making Gwinnett County Airport the best it can be,” said Lisa Holland, noting that being on the Avfuel branded network is integral to that. “The advantages Avfeul offers add value for guests, and we look forward to extending that value to our networks’ latest FBO addition.”

Meanwhile, Avfuel’s Senior Vice President of Sales added: “Sheltair made an all-in commitment to Gwinnett County and Avfuel is eager to help the company achieve its vision. We value the partnership we have with Sheltair and look forward to working with its team to support general aviation in Georgia’s largest metro area.”
