The Reading Regional Airport Authority is now overseeing the operation of the airport’s FBO. Previously two FBO facilities were operated on the airfield, but they have now been merged into a singular authority-run unit known as Reading Aviation. The facilities will undergo a rebrand and refresh over the next two years.

Zachary Tempesco, Airport Director, explained that by merging the two operations, “We’re able to better serve as a gateway for a growing part of southeastern Pennsylvania. With a leadership team of forward-thinkers, this operational move will help the authority fulfill its mission to elevate and promote our community’s economic growth, education and connectivity.”

The 18,000 sq ft FBO build (which previously housed Millenium Aviation) offers various amenities including comfortable passenger and pilot lounges, 1,000 sq. ft. of office space, an onsite restaurant and a conference room able to seat 10-16 with full A/V capabilities. Reading Aviation also controls more than 70,000 sq ft of hangar space able to accommodate aircraft up to a Falcon 900.

As a full-service FBO, Reading Aviation provides aviators with Jet A and Avgas supplied by Avfuel, as well as planeside access, deicing, potable water, maintenance and detailing, shuttle services, catering, laundry, cargo handling and towing.
