SSP Canada has opened a new collection of restaurants at Ottawa International Airport. The addition of the restaurants are part of the airport’s YOW+ programme, a multi-year YOW+ terminal enhancement programme launched by the Ottawa Airport Authority in 2019.

The new food court area called Marché du Canal (Canal Market Hall) and include a variety of concepts including a Bridgehead Coffee, La Bottega, Bento and Big Rig Kitchen and Brewery, in addition to quick casual pizza and burger concepts.

“We’re honoured to be part of the YOW community and bring this group of local and Canadian concepts to the Capitol’s Airport,” said Bob Stanton, Vice President of Business Development, SSP America. “Our thanks to the entire YOW team led by Director of Operations Graie Messina for their passion and commitment to bringing a ‘taste of place’ to YOW passengers.”

The opening of the new restaurants marks the ninth Canadian airport from which SSP now operates, representing an important portion of its business across North America.
