Food and beverage operator, OTG, has partnered with Starbucks to create the first Pick Up concept in airports. Three initial locations will open at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the US this autumn.

Designed exclusively for mobile orders and quick collection, Starbucks Pick Up has been tailored for the airport environment and created to meet the needs of digitally savvy, ‘on-the-go’ travellers. Once inside the terminal passengers will be able to download the Starbucks app before placing their order. Once the store’s order status board updates to ‘Ready, customers can collect their items. An onsite ‘how to order’ screen will be available if further assistance is required.
