Transavia France is launching a direct link to Marseille from Stockholm Arlanda Airport in time for the 2024 summer season.

Known for its idyllic coastline dotted with stunning beaches and vibrant culture, Marseille is one of the most dynamic cities in France. A popular destination for holidaymakers wanting to make the most of the warm climate and sandy beaches, it is also a busy trading region and home to the main commercial port of France.

The low-fare carrier will begin serving the twice weekly route on 6 June, with the airline’s Deputy General Director Sales and Marketing, Nicolas Henin, saying its customers will be spoiled for choice when it comes to visiting family and friends and going on vacation to sunny destinations.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Axtelius, Swedavia’s Director Aviation Business said: “There is a great confidence in the Swedish air travel market, and Transavia’s investment in an additional direct route at Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a clear sign of this. France is always in high demand, and Transavia plays a significant role in connecting Sweden to well-established markets in southern parts.”
