Canadian private jet charter services group, Chartright Air Group, has opened a new FBO facility at the Region of Waterloo International Airport in Canada.

Named Hangar 64, the state-of-the-art facility boasts an impressive 100,000 sq ft of space and 150,000 sq ft of ramp space, doubling Chartright’s footprint at the regional and business aviation hub. It also features an executive lounge area divided into a VIP lounge for private jet passengers and comfortable seating for corporate shuttle service passengers.

The expansion is also in line with the increasing demand from clients and the need for enhanced facilities outside of the Greater Toronto Area.

Describing his excitement for the new facility, Adam Keller, President of the Chartright Air Group, said: “This expansion represents a significant milestone for our company, allowing us to better accommodate our growing clients’ needs while contributing to the growth of the regional aviation sector in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. This region deserves a state-of-the-art facility that reflects the remarkable achievements of this community.”

Further underlining Chartright’s support for the growth of local airline operators, the new hangar can accommodate several aircraft types as large as a Boeing 767 and has been bestowed the prestigious Air Elite designation by World Fuel.
