The cafe chain, Caffè Nero, is opening a new concession at George Best Belfast City Airport. The new retail unit will be the first airport based Caffè Nero outlet in Northern Ireland and will create 12 jobs.

Although the permanent unit is not due to open until April 2022, a pop-up kiosk will be available to passengers in the meantime.

Commenting on the opening of the food and beverage concession, which will be located in the main concourse of the terminal so will be accessible to both passengers and those friends and family members meeting them at the airport Mark Beattie, Operations Director at Belfast City Airport said, “we are passionate about delivering an airport experience that exceeds the expectations of our passengers.”

Caffè Nero’s airport portfolio already includes Heathrow, Edinburgh and Manchester Airport in the UK.

“We are pleased to be working in partnership with Belfast City Airport as it strives to deliver an exceptional airport experience for its passengers and look forward to welcoming the first customer through our doors,”said Caffè Nero CEO, Will Stratton-Morris.
