The airport lounge specialists, Airport Dimensions and Ambaar Lounge have joined forces to open their first Ambaar Club Lounge at Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, Sao Paulo State in Brazil.
The opening of the lounge marks Airport Dimensions’ debut in the South American market. Two additional club lounges are also in development at Salgado Filho Porto Allegre International Airport and Fortaleza-Pinto Martins International Airport in partnership with Fraport later this year.
Describing the opening as an “exciting” development, Bernardo Claro da Fonseca, CEO and Founder of Ambaar Lounge said: “Ambaar Club customers will have access to exclusive services and spacious areas where the highest hygiene standards and comfort are guaranteed and safety is a priority.

Located in the airport’s domestic departures hall, lounge customers will benefit from a range of services including a complimentary beverage bar and cafe service. The menu features a number of regionally inspired dishes. A mix of seating areas means passengers can work or relax comfortably while children can make the most of a dedicated play area. Soundproof booths ensure that phone calls can be made in privacy.
The design of the lounge draws from the culture and heritage of the surrounding Campinas region with deep earthy tones and fresh greenery to reflect the local landscape. Guests from all airlines will have access to the lounge, as well as members of Priority Pass.

Open daily from 6am to 10pm the lounge has capacity for more than 100 passengers.
