Swiss-based technology company, Travizory, has secured investment from Atlantic Labs for its traveller management platform. The funding comes at a time when governments are looking for solutions to re-open their borders safely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The platform enables countries to obtain data directly from passengers, such as identity information, biographic, biometric, itinerary key data, custom and health information, such as COVID-19 test results and vaccine certificates. This data is then combined with industry data sources to assess and validate a travellers’ risk level and to authorise or deny travel at the point or origin.

The touchless solution, which can be interfaced with track and trace apps, will not only help reduce health risks at the airport but it will also help reduce queue times. It is also fully aligned with industry body recommendations for the safe reopening of air travel and tourism.

“Our platform goes beyond anything else available because of our extensive use of touchless technology,” explained Renaud Irminger, CEO of Travizory. “It extends to every part of the journey, including security. We are also very careful about data management and take privacy concerns extremely seriously. The data we work with is only used for travel and never for anything else,” he continued.

The investment from Atlantic Labs will fund Travizory’s first deployments and further developments of its core traveller management platform to fuel unprecedented seamless digital interactions between travellers and host countries.

Christophe Maire, founder and CEO of Atlantic Labs commented, “Year after year travellers have to provide their identity information to an increasing number of parties at multiple checkpoints including airports and airlines. Each occurrence is causing a risk of identity theft and a liability at this identity information is often stored for multiple years and forwarded un-securely to multiple government entities. We cannot wait for international travel to become simpler thanks to the Travizory platform.”
