Stellar Aviation Group has announced the expansion of its FBO network, after being awarded a 50-year lease and development agreement with the Reno Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA).

A full service FBO and hangar complex will be constructed at the Reno Tahoe International Airport in Reno, Nevada. The development of over 40 acres will meet demands from all aspects of the general aviation community, increasing the availability of FBO services and hangar space at the airport.

Jonathan Miller, President of Stellar Aviation Group stated, “It is with great pleasure that Stellar accepts the opportunity granted by the RTAA to become a strategic ambassador to all Reno Tahoe’s discerning customers, existing users, and future tenants while introducing them to Stellar’s unparalleled service standards and infrastructure development expertise.”

This addition is a part of Stellar’s plan to expand its FBO network beyond the East Coast and Midwest. The Nevada gateway currently provides service for commercial aviation, military and cargo operations and is also working with EPIC Fuels.

The RTAA’s Vice President of Airport Economic Development, Tina Iftiger commented on the partnership of Stellar Aviation to the Reno Tahoe community saying that this partnership will aid the growth and development of its general and corporate aviation sectors. She also hinted at “a much needed redevelopment and infrastructure expansion project.”

This project is expected to “transform our service offerings and support for all or users from the individual users to our business operators all of whom want to invest in the continued growth of our general aviation community. Together, we look forward to a bright and prosperous future for general and corporate aviation at the Reno Tahoe International Airport.”
