Sharjah Airport in the southeast of Sharjah, UAE, has undertaken various procedures and established services to ensure safe and convenient journeys for passengers travelling through the airport to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj season.
The latest practices include enabling the necessary medical tests in accordance with travel guidelines, providing assistance and additional information for safe, seamless travel, allocating a lounge with hospitality services, as well as adding dedicated support teams. Further measures to help expedite the pilgrims’ travel procedures are also being offered by Sharjah Airport, including the allocation of additional check-in kiosks, security kiosks, smart gates and luggage transportation vehicles.
