San Diego County Regional Airport Authority will host “Meet the Primes”, an event aimed at connecting small, local and disadvantages businesses with San Diego International Airport (SAN), prime contractors, concessionaires, public agencies, banks, businesses and financial support services, and regional partners.

The event will be hosted by the Airport Authority’s Small Business Development Programme, taking place on 7 September 2023. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about construction, concession and professional service opportunities, as well as regional teaming, partnership and contracting opportunities. Meet the Primes will also offer its attendees valuable networking opportunities at exhibitor booths.

“Meet the Primes is a great opportunity to learn how to do business with the Airport Authority and our partners,” said Kimberley Becker, President and CEO, Airport Authority. “This event provides useful information to small, local, veteran and underrepresented businesses looking to grow their operation in an airport environment. We hope business owners will join us for this valuable networking event.”

Meet the Primes was first launched in 2015 and has since grown to be the Airport Authority’s largest annual business networking event, with more than 300 participants each year.  This year’s event will mark the first in-person event since before the pandemic.
