Global supplier of security inspection systems, Rapiscan Systems, has launched its 935DX within its growing line of ORION X-ray screening systems. The launch coincides with the first day of this year’s Passenger Terminal Expo taking place in Amsterdam 14-16 March.
The 935DX is primarily designed for screening air cargo and pallets. By positioning its primary generator centrally under the conveyor, in combination with a proprietary U-shaped detector line, operators obtain extremely accurate images, with the correct aspect ration, regardless of an object’s orientation or position on the conveyor belt.
Rapiscan has also designed the 935DX with no installation or service access required from above, so the system is well suited for facilities with low overhead space constraints such as those found within many air cargo facilities.
