Entertainment, e-commerce and connectivity services provider, Moment, has been selected by Nice Côte d’Azur airport to enhance the passenger experience  in the VIP lounges of the airport’s two terminals, as part of a four-month pilot.

Moment’s “Mood” entertainment platform will be integrated into the Wi-Fi network at the airport’s four VIP lounges to offer passengers a unique pre-boarding entertainment experience. The platform offers an array of regularly updated content, including more than 10,000 hours of video featuring international films, series and news programmes, as well as dozens of podcasts, digital press and games.

While Moment has previously been more commonly associated with airlines, railways or shipping companies, its work with Nice Côte d’Azur airport signals a move into the airport sector. The four month pilot project at the southern French hub will serve as a basis for assessing the effectiveness of this new initiative and determining the path for full-scale deployment across the airport.

“We were convinced by the ease of deploying the platform on our portal,” said Candice Cadreils, Commercial Director of the Côte d’Azur Airports group. “Our partnership with moment marks an important step in our commitment to continually improve our travellers’ experience and drive innovation in the airport industry.”

Moment’s CEO Tanguy Morel echoed Cadreils enthusiasm for the collaboration. He said: “We firmly believe that digital entertainment can enrich travel by creating memorable moments. Our partnership with Nice Airport will open up exciting new perspectives in the travel industry.”
