Following its success last year, a high-rope course is returning to Munich Airport in Germany this summer, enabling climbing enthusiasts to test their personal limits at dizzying heights.

From 7-30 August, 2023 both experienced climbers and newbies will be able to take advantage of the high-rope course which spans a height of 15 metres and a width of 23 metres. The course has been specially designed for Munich Airport Center, with experienced trainers on hand to provide instructions and the safety equipment required to use the various climbing stations.

Slots can be booked by passengers or visitors by email or on the day subject to availability. There is also a ‘Surf and Turf Bar’ where spectators and those who have completed their climb can relax in a deckchair with a cold drink.

With airports increasingly turning their attention to non-aeronautical revenues to diversify their income streams, the high ropes course offers an exciting opportunity for those travelling through the airport as well as those just wanting to come and visit.
