This week got off to an exciting start with articles in all four titles in the HMG portfolio being shortlisted for awards at the prestigious Aerospace Media Awards 2022. The awards took place on the 17 July at the Royal Aerospace Society in London with media attending from across the globe.
While Regional Gateway’s Editor, Chloe Greenbank was shortlisted in the Best Commercial Aviation submission for her feature “The (AI)rport Revolution” which ran in Volume 4 Issue 3, 2021 of the magazine, Satu Dahl, Inflight Editor, was shortlisted in the Best Business Aviation Submission for her feature titled “A Vibrant Market.”
In the Best Passenger and Crew welfare submission Michael Doran (who also contributes regularly to Regional Gateway contributor) was also shortlisted for a feature which ran in LARA titled “Are you sitting comfortably?” Meanwhile Glenn Sands article “Getting it Just Right” which was featured in RotorHub was shortlisted for the Best Rotorcraft submission.
Congratulations to all those shortlisted and to all the winners on the night. It was humbling to be part of such an esteemed event, to have all four of HMG’s titles represented and to celebrate in style on the eve of the first Farnborough Airshow in four years.
