The Green Furniture Concept has revealed what it is describing as “most memorable modular beam seating since the Wright Brothers!”
The new Ascent series features gently curved seating and is a triumph of three-dimensional design. It can be configured to fit the structure of the building, and will help guide passenger flow through retail zones to departure gates. According to the Green Furniture Company it creates 30-40% more space than conventional seating systems and offers first-class comfort.
“Like all our furniture, Ascent is space-saving, durable, easy to maintain and designed fro passenger satisfaction,” said CEO Jonathan Nilsson. “We have been thinking about how to evolve gate areas beyond the beam-seater area for a long time. Ascent is the result,” he concluded.
In light of the concerns about the coronavirus, the new seating range was launched at a small event in Malmö at the end of March, which was then streamed digitally.
