Polish ground handling services company, Welcome Airport Services has chosen ground support equipment (GSE) provider Goldhofer for its expansion strategy in Poland.
Affiliated to aviation infrastructure company Polish Airports (PPL), Welcome Airport Services has been responsible for aircraft and passenger handling services for various airlines for nearly 25 years. The company offers a wide range of services covering air cargo, aircraft and passenger handling. The cooperation with Goldhofer will see it welcome a full portfolio of the company’s ground support vehicles, including the Sherpa cargo tow tractors, Bison conventional tow tractors and the Phoenix P towbarless aircraft tractor.

Welcome’s Logistics Director, Marcin Klejdys, added, “The Phoenix towbarless tractor enables us to respond even faster, more effectively and more economically to the strong resurgence in traffic volumes at Polish airports.
In the future,Welcome will be responsible for servicing and maintenance work related to the Goldhofer product portfolio, both for its own fleet and other GSE operators using Goldhofer vehicles.
