The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded contract estimated to be worth a US$6.7 million to Adacel for Tower Simulation System (TSS) software and support.

The contract includes a one0year Base Period and four, one-year Option Periods. Adacel will also provide Air Traffic Control (ATC) TSS Software and Support Services for technical and operational training of Air Traffic Controllers (ATCOs) at selected FAA ATC towers. In addition, the contract includes options to update the TSS simulation engine, speech recognition software and migrate the FAA’s curent Image Generator to AeroScene, Adacel’s latest art image generator solution.
