Cologne Bonn Airport will welcome Condor Airlines back to its operations in Autumn. During the winter schedule, the German airline will fly to Hurghada, Egypt, four times a week. The new Condor connection will begin operations on 28 October 2023.

The airline will fly the new Cologne Bonn-Hurghada route on its Airbus A320, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“Condor’s commitment is a definite gain for our passengers and for us as an airport,” said Thilo Schmid, President and CEO, Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “We are delighted that we have attracted this great traditional German airline back to our site and hope that we will be able to expand this partnership in the years ahead.”

Ralf Teckentrup, CEO, Condor, added: “We are delighted to be returning to Cologne Bonn Airport with Condor flights this Winter. In the future, we will be offering customers from the Rhineland four weekly direct flights to Hurghada in Egypt.”
