Belfast City Airport has welcomed the announcement that Aspire Lounges is investing £1.2 million in enhancing the lounge at the airport, unveiling CGI images of the final design.
In collaboration with concept design specialists DV8 Designs, the existing lounge area will be extended to accommodate 178 seats, effectively increasing the capacity by 70 people.
As well as featuring comfortable seating and, plush upholstery and enclosed private booths, the upgraded lounge will integrate a combination of tiled and curved slatted screens.
Drawing its inspiration from Northern Ireland’s iconic Giant’s Causeway, it will also make use of LED lighting to evoke a strong sense of local identity and a warm palette of colours.
The lounge is due to open this summer.
