Ryanair flights to Ibiza, Valencia and Milan have taken off from George Best Belfast City Airport, connecting passengers with popular European sunshine destinations. The three new routes complement the low-cost carriers existing services to Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca.

“With travel restrictions easing, and the anticipated relaxation of guidelines for vaccinated passengers, we are seeing an increase in demand from holiday makers and those that wish to travel internationally to see friends and family,” said Judith Davis, Operations Manager at Belfast City Airport.

The flights will operated up to twice weekly across each route, with Belfast City Airport now offering seven nights of parking in its on-site car park for only £34.99, which will appeal to those heading on holiday or taking a longer break.

“The addition of these destinations to our comprehensive route network for summer 2021 is excellent, and the feedback we have received since welcoming Ryanair back to Belfast City Airport has been extremely positive,” Davis continued.
