Air Canada is adding non-stop services between Montreal, Quebec, Canada via Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport from 20 May. This service will be the first-ever non-stop service between the two cities with flights operating three times weekly during the peak summer season.

“The new service on Air Canada to Montréal provides our region with a much-needed nonstop connection to this metropolitan Canadian city and beyond,” said Kimberly Becker, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority President and CEO. “Until today, Montréal was our largest and most requested unserved market in Canada, so we are thrilled with today’s announcement. Our thanks to Air Canada for expanding both business and tourism between our two regions.”

The most populous city in Quebec and the second-most populous city in Canada, Montréal boasts more than 50 museums, more than 800 public artworks, a dedicated entertainment district and his home to local hockey team, the Montréal Canadiens.

From 3 March, the airline will also resume service between Toronto, Ontario, Canada via Toronto Pearson International Airport and San Diego. Situated on the shore of Lake Ontario, Toronto is known for its progressiveness and diversity. From 28 February the Canadian Government is easing its on-arrival testing requirement for fully-vaccinated travellers.
