Gender diversity continues to be a hot topic in aviation – a sector that has traditionally been dominated by men. As a business Air bp is focused on improving diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) across its workforce. The top executive team at bp has more women than men and 40% of its senior leadership team are also women. Air bp itself is currently led by Federica Berra, who moved across from bp last year as Senior Vice President. Known for her her values-based leadership, Federica is a strong advocate for DE&I across the business.
Ahead of International Women’s Day 2024 and to inspire inclusion the sector Air bp has released a short video to celebrate some of the women working in a variety of roles across its global aviation business, including: Alessandra Resende Viana, Contract Advisor, Finance Procurement, Customer Supply; Cassie Li, Technical and Operations Lead, C&P Aviation in Asia Pacific; Azhar Al Majed, Crew Leader for Bahrain Aviation Fuelling Company (BAFCO); Ana Carolina Oliveira, Process Excellence Sales and Marketing Analyst, South AMerica, C&P Aviation Customers in ;and Sandra Souza, Senior Service Engineer, I&E.
