Arlanda Airport in Stockholm is developing a new centre for air cargo and logistics. Cargo City will be situated 1km from the airport’s terminals and will cover more than 144,000m2, offering strong onward links via road.

Swedavia, which owns and operates Stockholm Arlanda is seeking one or more partners to work in partnership with Real Estate to develop the land with estimated building rights for a gross building area of about 58,000m2. According to Swedavia, prospective investors will benefit from the opportunity for a joint venture partnership, a strategic and optimal location for logistics and manufacturing in close proximity to the airport, a priority development area, generous zoning plan and strong transport options.

“The area around Arlanda has become one of the most important development areas for manufacturing and logistics in the Stockholm region. We think it is exciting that we can now offer this opportunity for collaboration and partnership on such a large area at Airport City Stockholm and look forward to many interesting business proposals,” said Stefan Stenberg, CEO of Swedavia Real Estate.
