With Europe’s winter sports season now upon us and heavy snow fall already being reported in the southern alps, East Midlands Airport is now offering a new link to Grenoble with Jet2.com.

The addition of the gateway to the French Alps means that passengers flying from East Midlands can now access Europe’s largest and most famous ski regions with flights to Geneva, Chambery, Sofia (Bulgaria), Salzburg (Austria), Bergamo (Italy) and now Grenoble.

“What better way to brighten up your winter and burn off those Christmas calories than in the fresh air under bright blue skies and on dazzling white snow?” said Heidi Barlow, EMA’s head of marketing. “With so much choice of places to ski for all abilities and within easy reach of a flight from EMA, now is the best time to book a trip to the slopes.”
