Low-fare carrier Wizz Air will offer flights from Luton and Gatwick to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt later this year, as well as serving Hurghada in Egypt, Tallin in Estonia and Prague in Czech Republic from Luton. Meanwhile at Gatwick, it will also add Agadir and Marrakech in Morocco, as well as Verona in Italy and Grenoble in France.

The routes will launch between 30 October and 17 December. Over the winter, the airline will operate weekly flights to Grenoble and two flights per week to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. The rest of the routes will run year-round with daily flights to Prague and Marrakesh, four flights a week to Agadir and three weekly flights to Tallinn and Verona.

Wizz Air Managing Director, Marion Geoffrey, said: “We are very excited to announce the addition of nine new routes from our bases at Luton and Gatwick.

“Despite the challenges the UK aviation industry has faced this summer season, we remain committed to the market and are pleased to be able to offer passengers the chance to discover even more fascinating destinations such as Tallinn and Hurghada, and revisit holiday hotspots such as Sharm El Sheikh.”
