Following the necessary regulatory approvals, the Netherlands based logistics automation company, Vanderlande, has successfully completed the acquisition of Siemens Logistics’ HQ in Germany and its operations outside the US.
The move will enable Vanderlande to respond rapidly to increased demand for automated logistics solutions with the process of obtaining regulatory clearance for the US-based operations ongoing. According to Vanderlande its customers will now benefit from accelerated access to innovative technologies, synergies in technology development and improved efficiency in baggage and cargo handling solutions.
