Textron Aviation opens warehouse at Essendon Fields Airport

Manufacturer of the Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker brands and a leading general aviation authority, Textron Aviation has opened an aircraft parts warehouse at Essendon Fields Airport in Australia. The new facility will support the company’s fleet of business jets, turboprops and piston aircraft and will be co-located with Premiair Aviation Maintenance Pty Ltd.

The new parts warehouse will enable customers, operators and MROs as well as channel partners to purchase factory direct parts throug Textron Aviation’s ecommerce website or its local sales and support staff. Parts will be shipped locally from Essendon.

“With Premiair established as our new ASF for Australia, we are enhancing our regional parts availability. this represents another step in our ongoing commitment to Textron Aviation aircraft owners in Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Brad Thress, SVP of parts and programs at Textron Aviation.

The new facility at Essendon Fields follows the recent expansion of Textron Aviation in Asia Pacific after it opened a Singapore parts warehouse.

“Adding this new parts facility to Textron Aviation’s suport capabilities increases its levels of customer service for Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft in the region,” said Paul Montauban, managing director of Premiair Aviation. “Customer service is why our customers come to us, so providing spare parts delivery – shipped the same day in most instances – is another way to ensure comprehensive support.
