Ahead of this year’s GSE Expo taking place in Lisbon in September, aircraft jacks specialist, Tangye, has unveiled new lightweight and portable jacks to support aircraft axles during wheel inspection and changes.
The new jacks feature a 40 tonne model for smaller aircraft as well as an enhanced 100 tonne jack for larger types.
The range of aluminium jacks have been designed and manufactured in the UK by Allspeeds to lift, lower, manoeuvre and position heavy loads with minimum effort and maximum safety.
Tangye Hydramite jacks with capacities up to 15 tonne and Tangye Hydralite with capacities up to 100 tonnes are part of the axle jack and flyaway axle jack and flyaway axle jack kits typically used by EASA Part 145 approved aircraft maintenance companies.
“Tangye jacks are small and powerful, which makes them ideal for busy aircraft maintenance enigneers,” said Jeni O’Brien, sales manager, Allspeeds Ltd. “At our first GSE Expo Europe we’re announcing an expansion to the Tangye range to better meet the changing and diverse needs of maintenance organisations.
