Synect has launched an airport-wide experience called EventReady to help manage rising passenger volumes amid upcoming events such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2028 Olympic Games, America’s 250th anniversary celebrations, Super Bowls and more.
According to Synect, EventReady is a passenger engagement programme that combines custom event-branded visual content, guidance, information and digital signage to greet, guide and assist global passengers.
The programme contributes to airports delivering clear communications and seamless journeys during event-driven surges. It offers smart options inluding multilingual wayfinding, mobile integration and AI-driven tools let airports tailor the experience for operational needs. In addition, new sponsorship and non-aeronautical revenue opportunities are possible.
“Airports are about to enter a period of unprecedented global visibility,” said Montee Fiely, Head of Strategic Engagement at Synect. “The question is not whether major events are coming. It’s whether airports are prepared to deliver a seamless, welcoming and revenue-generating experience at scale.”
Being modular, the solution adapts to each airport’s needs and allows customisation of branding and content. Synect says that airports can start with content-only deployments on current digital signage networks or upgrade to Synect’s Passenger360 Digital Content Management System (DCMS) for advanced functionality and orchestration. It can also incorporate ReadySeeGo for fast, easy visual communication.
“Major global events are an opportunity for airports to demonstrate they are thinking ahead and designing experiences with passengers in mind,” said Yahav Ran, CEO of Synect. “This kind of preparation leads to clearer communication, stronger engagement and a better overall journey.”
