Security and screening technology supplier, Smiths Detection, has unveiled its latest screening solution – the SDX 6040 Enhanced Image Quality (EIQ).
The cutting-edge, mobile screening solution is designed to meet the dynamic demands of modern of modern security environments. According to Smiths Detection, it offers exceptional image quality, ensuring unparalleled clarity when detecting threats.
The lightweight mobile unit has an 80cm footprint, while the touch screen and smart image display is easy to interact with, enabling superior discrimination between organic and inorganic materials – critical for the detection of explosvies, drugs and other contraband. It complements other Smiths Detection and partner technologies, including people screening and the trace detection of narcotics or explosives, making it a comprehensive and adaptable solution for security needs.
The redesigned detection system also ensures a totally comprehensive view of every item, eliminating any blind spots. Additionally, it is compatible with iCMORE, Smiths Detection’s AI technology, offering automated threat detection for a wide range of prohibited items.
