Crownair Aviation has joined the Avfuel Corporation branded FBO network. The partnership will provide the San Diego FBO’s 16,000 square foot facility with Avfuel aviation fuel and services from February this year.

Ray Richmond, president, Crownair, said he believes Avfuel shares Crownair’s priority to provide the “highest level of service” to its customers: “We look forward to providing competitively priced fuel and AVTRIP rewards, along with the benefits customers don’t think about – but certainly want – like supply logistics and on-time delivery.”

Passengers flying from Crownair will be able to use the Avfuel Pro Card for streamlined purchasing, allowing purchases of all items, with or without a fuel purchase, to be made in one transaction.

Located 15 minutes north of downtown San Diego, the IS-BAH Stage 3 registered FBO offers amenities including a passenger lounge, flight planning and business centre, pilot lounge and meeting rooms including a conference room.

Mark Haynes, vice president of sales, Avfuel, is optimistic for the partnership with the ‘icon of California’s aviation history’: “Crownair has become part of the legacy of Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport, which has provided San Diego with FBO services for more than 70 years, and brought it to new heights.

“Avfuel is proud to be part of that legacy, and looks forward to supporting Crownair with fuel and logistics to serve its clients, and its position as the CAA provider at the airport,” he said.
