Perth Airport in Western Australia is expanding its retail offering, calling for concessionaires across food and beverage (F&B), travel essentials and specialty categories to bid on 32 sites across its terminals to form part of a major refurbishment and refresh of its terminals.

In line with planned growth in passenger traffic, the airport is embarking on a multi-billion-dollar private infrastructure development to deliver new terminal facilities, a new parallel runway, two multi-storey car parks and an airport hotel.

“Along with all the new development and terminal infrastructure we will also be upgrading the current terminals to ensure we are catering for our growing passenger numbers,” said Perth Airport Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer, Kate Holsgrove.

“Perth Airport recorded more than 16.1 million passengers in FY24, and we are still seeing more of our airline partners continue to either add or expand their services into Perth.

“To ensure we have the best offerings for our growing passenger base, we will be refurbishing retail precincts across our terminals to ensure we are optimising the customer experience.”

Holsgrove also explained the commercial team at the airport will engage with potential partners via a Request for Proposals programme for up to 32 sites across the airport’s four terminals.
