Australia’s Perth Airport has extended its collaboration with foreign exchange services provider, Travelex, for another seven years.
The agreement, which will see Travelex operating at the airport until 2031 at least, will also see the development of four new sites and the refurbishment of existing concessions across terminals 1 and 3. In addition, there will be a complete ATM replacement and upgrade with the latest technology being rolled out to benefit passengers travelling through the airport.
Commenting on how Perth recorded more than 4.34 million international passengers in FY24, the airport’s Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer, Kate Holsgrove said the airport is expecting that number to continue to rise as airline partners continue to grow their services to and from the gateway to western Australia.
“With that growth, it’s important to offer passengers a great customer experience and with Travelex, we know that’s what they’ll get,” said Holsgrove.
