With car parking a key non-aeronautical revenue stream for airports, Gainesville Regional Airport in North Central Florida has opened its new parking garage for the public.
The four -storey, 418- space car park includes 16 electric vehicle charging stations and is located close to the terminal with easy access between the two via a covered walkway.
“Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) is happy to open this great new amenity to our customers and visitors,” said Allan Penksa, GNV CEO. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and support over the last few months and hope they find the ability to Park Easy at GNV will be a convenient addition that is worth the wait.”
Customers parking at the facility can do so for a rate of up to USD16 per day.
