The new No1 Lounge offers travellers a contemporary space with dedicated workspaces, spacious seating and a bistro-style dining area. Spanning 5,900 sq. ft., the lounge can accommodate up to 150 guests, with a variety of seating options.

“This new lounge combines our signature style and service with design elements and produce that proudly reflect the character of the island,” said Rami El-Dahshan, Managing Director of No1 Lounges.

“It’s a space created to offer calm, comfort and a sense of occasion, whether [passengers] are travelling for business or leisure. We know travellers will want to get to the airport a little earlier to make the most of it, from the welcoming interiors to the exceptional food and drink, this is a place to start your journey feeling truly looked after.”

A strong focus on the local community and regional economy

In keeping with a sense of place, the lounge has been designed with a strong focus on championing the island’s community and character. To support the regional economy and showcase Jersey craftsmanship, local contractors and tradespeople have all been engaged in developing the lounge. Meanwhile, the menu features a curated selection of locally sourced food and drink.

Ports of Jersey’s Chief Executive, Matt Thomas added: “This is the first phase of a long-term plan to transform Jersey Airport and create a smooth and easy travel experience for all our passengers.”

He added that the lounge “celebrates Jersey’s unique heritage and identity and creates a relaxing start to customers’ journeys.”

Inspired by Jersey’s dramatic coastline, rich heritage and lush landscapes, the space features a calming palette paired with soft textures and elegant oak flooring. Guests can enjoy views out over the ocean and the airport’s runway.
