

With this announcement, the Alliance has chosen Thales’ TopSky air traffic controller (ATC) solution and consequently has entered its three parties into the TopSky ATC Partners group. The purpose of the Group is to continuously develop a safe and seamless ATC system that reduces cost and ensure cross-border interoperability. TopSky – ATC One offers innovative controller tools and open, secure software architecture.

In a joint statement, Jan Klas, CEO Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic (ANS CR), Ivar Värk, CEO Estonian Air Navigation Services AS (EANS), and Raine Luojus, CEO Fintraffic Air Navigation Services Ltd (FTANS) for the SkyBridge Alliance said: “The creation of the SkyBridge Alliance marks an important milestone in cross-border ATM cooperation. By uniting technological and operational strategies, we are building a stronger foundation for a more sustainable, interoperable and efficient European airspace. This strategic investment not only supports our day-to-day operational reliability but will also ensure the long-term sustainability of air traffic management services.”
