Jettainer has appointed Moritz Köhler as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective July 2026.
Köhler will be leading the continued development of Jettainer’s global operations, overseeing strategic fleet management and optimising the company’s worldwide network of unit load device (ULD) Control Desks and repair partners.

Köhler brings around 18 years of experience in the air cargo industry and has held various leadership and management positions at Lufthansa Cargo. In addition to international assignments in Commercial Management, he was responsible for establishing new market regions and leading strategic digitalization initiatives, most recently overseeing the implementation of the IATA ONE Record data standard.

According to Jettainer, Köhler will focus on further advancing data-driven decision-making, optimizing the availability of Jettainer’s ULD fleet, and strengthening the resilience of the company’s operational organization to meet the demands of an increasingly dynamic market environment. The objective is to further improve both efficiency and quality while delivering even more effective, tailor-made solutions to customers worldwide.
