Million Air White Plains (HPN) has raised the ‘luxe’ bar for Fixed-base operators (FBOs) with the unveiling of its new facility at Westchester County Airport.
Guests attending the exclusive opening were treated to a private concert by musician Chris Isaak, an AboutGOLF simulator with professional golf appearances, Breitling watches and Shreve, Crump & Low jewels on display.
The US$70 million development project has been years in the making and features a new 22,000 sq. ft. terminal, 50,400 sq. ft. hangar and ramp facility upgrades, to meet the growing customer demand for enhanced services and expanded space at the Milllion Air White Plains FBO. The hangar is capable of housing a Gulfstream 650 and incorporates a partial curtain wall facade to showcase the aircraft within, as well as heated floors allowing comfortable temperatures which can be maintained for aircraft and pilots alike.
The space has been aesthetically designed to reflect a luxury resort like ambiance and features stone framed fireplaces outlined by wood beam ceilings reflective of the White Plains community.
