The Kuwaiti low-fare airline is launching its service between the two cities in May.
The launch of Jazeera Airways’ service between Milan Bergamo Airport and Kuwait is expected to strengthen the Italian airport’s connectivity with the Middle East and expand travel options for both business and leisure travellers. Passengers will benefit from Jazeera’s onward connections across the Gulf region.
“The launch of Jazeera Airways’ new Kuwait City service represents an important addition to Milan Bergamo Airport’s route network and further underlines our growing appeal to airlines from the Middle East,” said Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation, Marketing and Communications at SACBO.
“This new connection opens up opportunities for tourism, trade and cultural exchange, while offering our passengers greater choice and improved access to an increasingly important market.”
Kuwait City is the country’s capital and principal economic hub, serving as a key gateway to the wider Gulf region. The route will be served on the airline’s modern Airbus A320neo aircraft and will be operated three times a week.
