Milan Bergamo Airport in Italy is celebrating its fifth anniversary of Bergamolynk, the virtual interlining tool it launched in partnership with Kiwi.com.

The tool has generated significant passenger growth for all airlines operating at the airport, enabling passengers to plan their journeys, offering exclusive services and a hassle-free transit experience, while harnessing the strategic geographic position of Milan Bergamo.

Passengers booking through Bergamolynk are able to connect flights from different airlines and they benefit from the convenience of checking in their luggage at a dedicated area within the VIP lounge at the airport. They also receive an exclusive QR code with their booking, granting them access to a Fast Track lane for security checks, allowing them to bypass queues and enhancing their overall travel experience.

Commenting on the fifth successful year of Bergamolynk, Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation at SACBO, which operates the airport, said: “This service has revolutionised the way people travel through our airport, providing greater connectivity and unparalleled convenience. We are proud of what we’ve achieved over the past five years and are excited to continue enhancing Bergamolynk for our passengers.”

Since its introduction, Bergamolynk has increased passenger traffic at Milan Bergamo and improved customer satisfaction by offering travellers a more streamlined and enjoyable journey. As the Milan gateway enters its next chapter of Bergamolynk, future plans include adding more destinations, integrating additional airlines and enhancing the exclusive services available through the tool.
