Oshkosh Airport Products has delivered two Striker 6×6 ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting) vehicles to MET-Montreal Metropolitan Airport to support its emergency operations as part of an expansion from a regional airport into a domestic hub. Following its completed development later in 2025, which involves a 226,000 square foot terminal, nine gates, and capacity of up to four million travellers a year.
The Striker vehicles’ features include a modular cab design, TAK-4 all-wheel independent suspension, seating capacity for four firefighters, a Scania DC16 V8 670HP Tier 4 engine, 12,500 litre water capacity, 1,600 litre foam capacity, 227 kg dry chemical capacity, Eco-EFP™ Foam Measurement System to enhance firefighting efficiency, and an Electronic Foam Proportioning System to manage environmental impact.

To support its expansion, MET has also created a fire services unit with other emergency response equipment alongside the Striker 6×6 vehicles.
