ExecuJet, which is part of one of the world’s largest business aircraft and helicopter operators – Luxaviation Group, is expanding its FBO network with the opening of a new facility at Malta International Airport.

Boasting a strategic geographic position within Europe and just a 30-minute flight from North Africa, Malta offers an appealing destination for business and leisure travellers with its growing aviation registry, investment opportunities and superyacht facilities.

“The addition of Executive Aviation Malta to our FBO portfolio underscores our commitment to providing seamless and outstanding services in key locations worldwide,” said Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group.

“Malta’s unique position within Europe and its proximity to North Africa enhances our clients’ operational flexibility, making it a prime location for technical stops and business aviation services.”

Originally opened in 2011, the Malta FBO is a full-service facility featuring two fully equipped lounges, a flight planning room, full-service concierge, a shower room, crew transport vehicles and a range of amenities tailored to meet the needs of both passengers and crew. It also offers into-plane fuelling, customs support and a renowned Meet & Assist programme that ensures expedited handling through all airport formalities.

According to Andrea Trapani, CEO of Executive Aviation Malta, “the signing of such a strategic cooperation with a global partner such as ExecuJet is testament of our achievements and level of service along the years. I believe that such a cooperation will further open up doors for us and will contribute to future growth from all aspects for the ExecuJet brand and our FBO in Malta.”

Looking ahead, ExecuJet and Executive Aviation Malta now plan to invest in facility upgrades and expand the vehicle fleet at the FBO.
