Airport Dimensions, which has over 80 lounges worldwide has launched two lounges in Indonesia and Vietnam. The lounge operator teamed up with Blue Sky to open a lounge at Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and with SASCO to open a lounge at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
Airport Dimensions expands presence in Indonesia
The collaboration between Indonesian hospitality company Blue Sky Group and Airport Dimensions, was originally formed in 2025. The two companies collaborated on a lounge in Makassar last year, with more destinations expected to follow.
This latest lounge opening in Jakarta reinforces their shared commitment to elevate airport hospitality standards across Indonesia’s domestic aviation sector.
“Indonesia is one of the most dynamic aviation markets in the region, and this creates a strong opportunity to rethink how airport spaces support domestic travellers,” said Errol McGlothan, President for EMEA and APAC at Airport Dimensions.
Speaking of the partnership with Blue Sky, McGlothan said it “brings together global expertise and local insight to design lounges that are intuitive, comfortable and relevant to the way people travel today.”

Located in Soekarno Hatta’s Terminal 1C, which caters for a mix of both business and leisure flights in Indonesia, the new lounge is open to all domestic passengers regardless of airline or ticket class. Once inside, passengers can make the most of check-in and baggage assistance offered in the lounge and enjoy a smoother, calmer and more efficient journey through the airport.
Locally inspired dishes are available in the buffet style dining area featuring Blue Sky’s well-known signature mantau. There is also a coffee corner serving Ippolito, Blue Sky’s signature artisan coffee, while a healthy corner offers cold pressed juices and other soft drinks. There is also a VIP room for a supplementary fee, a restroom and prayer room.
Underlining the importance of passenger wellbeing and the increasing demand for a more personalised experience, Sucin Rahayu, Director of PT Bumi Liputan Angkasa, operator of the Blue Sky Premier Lounge described the lounge as more than just a physical space. “It is part of the travel experience itself.” He added, “Terminal 1C serves a very active mix of business and leisure passengers, and our goal is to provide them with a premium, seamless, and comforting start to their journey – from check-in assistance to high-quality dining and relaxation.”

In Vietnam, Airport Dimensions has partnered with SASCO, a non-aviation services provider, to upgrade the Rose Business Lounge in Tan Son Nhat Airport as the gateway to Ho Chi Minh City.
With over 30 years experience in delivering services and products reflecting Vietnamese style and culture, SASCO chose to partner with Airport Dimensions to lean on its expertise in the international aviation market. “Our collaboration not only brings long-term value to both sides but also elevates the experience for domestic and international travellers,” said SASCO CEO, Nguyen Van Hung Curo’ng.
“Rose Lounge represents SASCO’s pioneering step in bringing international standards to Vietnam’s non-aviation services – supporting Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) on the new journey, especially as major projects like Long Thanh International Airport are being shaped to become a globally recognised gateway that proudly reflects Vietnamese identity.”

The upgraded lounge blends locally sourced Vietnamese materials such as warm wood tones, bamboo and rattan weave, with modern design to create a warm, inviting and culturally rich atmosphere. The lounge can cater for up to 129 guests with different zones including a relaxation area, private workspace, family corner, boutique bar and expansive airfield views. The enhanced hot kitchen and bar area is a standout feature of the upgraded lounge where guests can enjoy a range of culinary delights spanning Asian and Western cuisines.
Commenting on the project in Vietnam, Airport Dimensions’ McGlothan said: “Vietnam is one of the most exciting aviation markets and our partnership with SASCO allows us to bring airport experiences of global quality to a market with extraordinary potential. The reimagine Rose Lounge is the first expression of this shared ambition. As the aviation sector in Vietnam continues to expand fuelled by rising tourism, we see tremendous opportunities to introduce innovative spaces that improve comfort and create value for airports and passengers alike.”
