Turkish low-fare carrier Pegasus Airlines is adding a daily service from London Stansted in the UK to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to its network. Frequently described as the UAE’s ‘cultural capital’, Sharjah will be the airlines’ third low-cost and convenient route to the region, as it already serves Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The new service will launch on 13 December between London Stansted and Sharjah International Airport via Istanbul.

The launch flight comes just in time for the winter break. Located on the coast of the Arab Gulf, between Dubai and Ajman, Sharjah’s family-friendly culture, adventure and eco-tourism attractions offer the ideal winter-sun escape for travellers originating from the UK.

The addition of Sharjah means that Pegasus now flies to a total of 105 destinations in 40 countries across Europe, Russia and the Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.
