Lödige Industries, a provider of logistics systems, has received the Innovation Award – Product at the Air Cargo News Awards in London.
The company secured the award with its Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs): self-driving technology that can reduce the need for fixed conveyor systems or manual transport, maximise space use, and increase handling efficiency. They also lower the risk of ULD damage and accidents. The AGVs have been in development since 2018 and are now implemented in air cargo terminals.
