Parata Air, a South Korean airline, has selected Jettainer to provide its Unit Load Device (ULD) management upon its operational launch at Incheon Airport. The deal includes Jettainer managing and maintaining the whole fleet of lightweight containers and expanding it. The ULDs will be equipped with tracking technology that connects with JettwareNG, an intelligent IT solution.

“The partnership with Jettainer, a global leader in ULD management, is an important step and ensures a highly efficient supply of lightweight ULDs for our growing route network from the very first flight”, said Unhyung Ko of PARATA AIR. “We deliberately opted for the efficiency and service quality of the experts to be able to develop our operations flexibly while at the same time having an always efficiently managed fleet of ULDs that grows in line with our requirements.”

“We are very much looking forward to being part of Parata Air’s journey from day one, supporting their ambitious growth plans with the efficient management of lightweight ULDs,” commented Thorsten Riekert, General Manager Asia Pacific at Jettainer. “Adding another customer in Asia, we are also expanding our network in the region and creating valuable synergies for Parata Air and all our customers.”
