Jet2 is launching flights from London Gatwick Airport, becoming the first major leisure airline to establish a network from the airport since 2020. The airline will operate six aircraft from the airport, and the investment is set to generate over 300 direct jobs.
In the wake of the new base, the airline has established a network of 29 destinations from Gatwick for its first summer, such as Girona, Corfu, Malta, Verona, Kefalonia, and Tenerife, with the latter destination marking the first flight to depart on 26 March 2026.

With the announcement, the airline now operates a network of 14 UK airport bases, which include Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle.
