Jet Aviation is investing further in its Bozeman, Montana; Scottsdale, Arizona and Houston, Texas facilities.

The business aviation services provider has begun constructing a new 40,000 sq.ft. hangar at its Bozeman facility which is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2023. Meanwhile in Houston the company is in the process of rebuilding a 30,000 sq.ft. hangar, renovating 6,000 sq.ft. of FBO lobby space and upgrading 4,500 sq.ft. of office space. In Scottsdale it is constructiong an 18,000 sq.ft. facility with completion due the second quarter of 2023. The latter will complement the facility’s existing 30,000 sq.ft. hangar bringing total capacity to 48,000 sq. ft.

“We see a strong demand for hangar space and the growing need to accommodate large cabin jets,” said Danny Larsen, Jet Aviation’s VP Business Development and Real Estate. “According to market data, the US business jet fleet increased by 34% with a physical footprint of 27.5 million  sq. ft. between 2010 and 2020. Jet Aviation manages some 300 aircraft worldwide with a significant number being large cabin, and as such, we are delighted to be expanding our US infrastructure to support this demand and offer solutions for our current and future customers.”

With the company focused on expanding its existing business aviation operations infrastructure Jet Aviation already operates 30 FBOs in locations in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
